A Tahoe institution since the 1950s, Sunnyside pairs a massive lakefront deck with a menu that has quietly gotten serious, huli huli chicken, a proper fish and chips, and the best seat on the lake at sunset.

Reserve the deck for golden hour. The lodge rooms upstairs are equally good if you want to wake up on the water.
